This is a multi-chapter story about a team of paranormal-types who go after paranormal-types. There is fighting galore in this one, but it is so well done, and it is HOT. Sara really knows how to turn a phrase and the characterizations are great. The heroine has a symbiote in her mind as well and the suspense just builds and builds. Great story.

There is a population explosion in Cutter’s Creek, where every woman and girl from ages ten to sixty-five are finding themselves with swelling bellies. The state social workers’ office wants to find out why Cutter’s Creek is suddenly costing them a lot of money, so they send out a social worker to investigate. A social worker who is female and between the age of ten and sixty-five. Heh.

The Future’s So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades

Jukebox is one of the best pure writers I’ve ever come across. Every line in his stories, every word, is so well-chosen, and his characterizations are unique and absolutely flawless. His ideas are just fantastic. This is one of the first stories I read by Jukebox, and it stands out for two reasons: one, it was the first story I read by Jukebox that made me sit back afterward and say, “Damn, this guy is good.” Two, the story is just awesome. It’s about a mad scientist convention, and when you put a mad scientist convention and Jukebox together, I guarantee you fun things are going to happen. All of the author’s strong points are on display here, and the ending is simply hysterical. A great read.

Lemma the Librarian

I don’t believe the author is finished with this one yet- there are five chapters, plus a prologue at the time of this writing- but regardless, this story is one of the best I have ever read in any genre, period. The author has created an entire world, and Lemma is working her way through it in a geas-compulsed search for books. Lemma is a great narrator, and she is a powerful sorceress who finds herself in embarrassing situations regularly. This is a very funny, very hot, very well-written story. The world-building skills shown by the author are simply spectacular. This story earned the highest CW rating (4 ½ stars…along with “The Man in Room 10”) that I have given to date.

This is the story of what happens to an ordinary man when he receives an unexpected ability for the space of one year. The protagonist is Everyman, and nobody does this type of story better than Wiseguy. Flawless interactions, excellent characterizations, a great premise and a very satisfying ending make this a very entertaining read.

Captain Tommy's Hot Ass Ho's

Lisa is one of my favorite writers on the EMCSA because of her incredible ability to create fascinating and imaginative storylines. That ability really shines through in this story. Carnivals are great settings for MC stories to begin with, and Lisa took the setting and worked it to great effect here. The concept of the cards is so creative, and the way the cards worked…well, all of Lisa’s strong points are on display here. This story ran for nearly thirty chapters, and it kept me spellbound and fascinated the entire time. An incredible concept, and an incredible story. Also, hot beyond my ability to describe here. Just a great story.
